Pendragon at Ubercon

Pendragon meets Gaming Dragon

I’ve just confirmed that I will be running two sessions of King Arthur Pendragon (Pendragon 5th Edition) at this year’s Ubercon in Edison, NJ.  I’ve got a morning session on Saturday (9 AM to 1 PM) and another on Sunday (10 AM to 2 PM).  As this is probably my all-time favorite game system, and I have played a whole lot of game systems, this should be a fun day.  If anyone has not played in Pendragon and would like to learn, the two adventures I’m running should prove to be a good introduction to you.  If you’re interested, please head on over to and sign up.  My two sessions are the following:

Even if you don’t sign up for my games, I encourage everyone in the area to attend.  Ubercon is a great gaming experience and I’ve had a blast every time I’ve been there.

  1. You are sorely tempting me and the Val into making a Sunday appearance. You cad! I confess to never having looked at Pendragon before, but from what I've glimpsed at in the past, uh, ten minutes of looking I'm intrigued.

If we can make the Sunday you can be sure we'll be wanting to sign up a spot or two for your event!

  2. Best of luck. I live in California, so I'm not coming; but, Pendragon is the most awesome RPG system I've ever played.

It seems to take a couple of sessions before the system really starts to shine. The player character stories really start to write themselves if you just let the dice fall where they may. So I'm not sure how this will play out at a Con. Still, knock 'em dead!

  3. Yeah, it takes a few sessions to really get into the game itself, but I'm looking at these as being decent intro scenarios.
